We probably have heard this concept at some point in our lives: The Hero’s Journey. At its esoteric core, the Hero’s Journey is a transformative odyssey where the individual, facing trials and revelations, evolves into a more profound version of themselves. This archetypal adventure, often portrayed in mythology and storytelling, mirrors the alchemical process of transmutation-the journey from lead to gold, from the mundane to the spiritually refined.
Alchemy, both as a mystical tradition and a metaphorical lens, aligns with the psychological evolution witnessed in the Hero’s Journey.
